The Fitzees worked hard to clear furniture, concrete, trash and weeds to help reduce the multiple fines that Ms. Cuts has been accumulating. We're hoping that once the inside of her home passes inspection Project Homecoming can further the process of getting her back into her home.
The Pfavinos conquered the community garden today! We built a picnic table; visited a horse farm for manure; spread that manure with leaves in flower beds; painted signs with neighborhood kids; and built a compost heap. We met more neighbors, gave away more radishes and mustard greens, and had a blast!
